Stefano Bovino (Hamburger Sternwarte, Universität Hamburg), "Chemical complexity in star-forming regions"
The need to match predictions from theoretical calculations with observational data has forced astrophysicists to build more reliable chemical models. In the ALMA era, it is indispensable to make an effort to provide with state-of-the-art models that allow for a comparison and a better interpretation of the data. During this talk, I will present the complexity of the chemistry in star-forming regions, discussing proper chemical modeling in three-dimensional magneto-hydrodynamic simulations to understand the physics of high-mass star-forming regions.
