Associate members, undergrad students and guests

Registration should be done at the Secretary office, located at the second floor of the IRA building in Bologna, by presenting an identity document and the citizen code (‘codice fiscale’). The secretary office will:

  • provide you with a nominative badge for accessing the Bologna Research Campus and the Medicina and Noto radio telescopes;
  • assign you an office or work station;
  • insert your personal details in the IRA personnel list;
  • provide you with IRA credentials (username and password) upon request, to access the computers and services of the institute

New employees (TI/TD, assegnisti e borsisti)

A first registration should be done at the Personnel office, located at the second floor of the IRA building in Bologna, by presenting an identity document and the citizen code (‘codice fiscale’). Here you will:

  • sign the contract;
  • be added to the INAF personnel list, which will enable you get access to the INAF user portal usign username and password

After that you can go to the Secretary office, located at the second floor of the IRA building, where they will:

  • provide you with a nominative badge for accessing the Bologna Research Campus and the Medicina and Noto radio telescopes;
  • assign you an office or work station;
  • insert your personal details in the IRA personnel list;
  • provide you with IRA credentials (username and password) to access the computers and services of the institute

The badge must be used for security purposes to register your presence in the Bologna Research Campus or the Medicina and Noto radio telescopes. It allows the access on working days during working hours (7h – 20h). An extension of the access time may be possible for a limited period of time upon authorization of the IRA Director.
The IRA credentials allow you to access the computers and services and the reserved areas of this website.

The day after registration, you will be able to access the INAF user portal to complete the details of your profile. In particular, research staff and collaborators are invited to enter their OrcID code in the portal (by registering on the website https://orcid.org/) and the IBAN bank code on which the missions will be reimbursed)
