Francesco De Gasperin (INAF - IRA Bologna), "Radio imaging at the lowest frequencies: techniques, surveys and plans"
In this talk I will give an update on the frontline research on ultra low-frequency (<100 MHz) calibration and imaging techniques. I will show the current status of the LOFAR Low Band Antenna (LBA) observation, data reduction and analysis strategies. Finally, I will give an overview on the status of the LOFAR LBA Sky Survey (LoLSS), underlining the involvement of our institute, and the plans for the LOFAR 2.0 ultra-low frequency surveys.
