ALMA has just celebrated the 10th anniversary of its inauguration! In these 10 years ALMA produced many transformational results to any field of astrophysics from solar system science to cosmology. The telescope is now mature and ready for new major upgrades that in the next decade will increase even more the impact of ALMA on science and will improve the user experience for an easier science exploitation. The next ALMA deadline, for observing Cycle 10, is on the 10th of May. In this talk, the Italian node of the European ALMA Regional Centre will present the current status and the development prospects of this evolving facility, and will offer its support to approach new observations with ALMA and the exploitation of archival data.
