Activities

My research focuses on the study of radio galaxies and their evolution, with particular attention to the life cycle of jets and their interaction with the surrounding environment. I am interested in understanding the impact of AGN jets on the overall galaxy evolution process, as well as the role of the AGN remnant plasma on the non-thermal history of galaxy groups and clusters. For my research I use radio telescopes such as LOFAR, JVLA, uGMRT, Effelsberg and SRT. My main expertise is at MHz-frequencies thanks to my involvement in the LOFAR “Survey” Key Science Project since 2014.
