The European VLBI Network (EVN), which also includes three INAF antennas, is continuously growing. I will introduce the new capabilities it acquired in the last years, and give a pair of scientific highlights. Afterwards, I will present the proposal statistics for 2018-2019, in particular the Italian contribution, and finish with the future Calls for Proposals.
