In this talk, I will present a kinematic study of the relativistic jet in the radio galaxy 3C 84, based on 43 GHz observations with the VLBA from the BEAM-ME monitoring program. Using the advanced forward imaging technique eht-imaging, we achieved an angular resolution of 80 uas, significantly higher than traditional methods like CLEAN. This has enabled a decade-long view into the evolution of the parsec-scale relativistic jet in 3C 84, revealing its internal structure, bending, and changes in both speed and launching direction. I will discuss the identification and possible interpretation of three distinct kinematic regimes in the jet's expansion history, as well as evidence for irregular precession in the jet's orientation. These findings offer new, quantitative insight into the dynamic behavior of relativistic jets and the morphological transformation of 3C 84. I will conclude the talk by introducing future possibilities for the imaging of jets and their analysis, which are enabled by novel machine learning imaging methods.
