The IRA working group for Public Engagement (PE) manages various outreach initiatives, as well as training and educational activities for students on technical-scientific issues related to radio astronomy. We are committed on several fronts and would need to broaden the participation in these activities. PE is at the forefront of the dissemination of our research work. Moreover, it is of vital importance in professional orientation for young people and in spreading awareness of the many facets of research in INAF, also in view of possible future enrollments in technical and scientific positions. We would like to present these activities to all colleagues, to broaden the knowledge about them. We also would like to ask for everyone's involvement according to their taste and possibilities, so as to increase the effectiveness of this meaningful (and important) part of our job.
