My scientific interests span from the characterization of the interstellar medium of galaxies and star formation processes to the study of the gas fueling and outflow of the active galactic nuclei in the galaxy centers, with particular reference to galaxies of the local Universe. I also study galaxy (proto-)clusters of the distant Universe. In order to achieve these goals, I adopt a multi-wavelength (from UV to radio) approach by using observations coming from both ground-based and spatial telescopes such as ALMA, GALEX, Herschel, HST, IRAM, JVLA, LBT, MeerKAT, SDSS and WISE.
